My wife and I have been taking our cars to Yates Automotive for maintenance and repairs for well over a decade. We have consistently been pleased with their outstanding workmanship and friendly service, and highly recommend them to our neighbors and friends. The customer service and commitment shown by the management and staff of Yates Automotive is especially remarkable. Here is an example from my own personal experience: After buying a new vehicle from our local dealer, I took it to Yates from the very beginning for continuous servicing. Years later, the transmission in this vehicle broke down on a highway in North Carolina and the car was totally disabled. After asking our friends at Yates Automotive for their help, they arranged to have the vehicle transported to Northern Virginia to be examined by their own mechanics. At that time, the car’s transmission was still under warranty, but it was not being honored by the dealer. However, Yates Automotive intervened with the dealer on my behalf. As a result of this intervention, the dealer ended up totally replacing the transmission at no cost to me and my wife. What Yates did for us reflects a level of customer service and commitment which is rarely seen anymore in our society today. Thanks again to Yates Automotive for your remarkable support over many years!

Highly recommended!! My husband and I recently moved here from NC and needed vehicle inspections on a total of 3 vehicles. The manager at Yates, Dylan, took a personal interest during our visit. After a thorough inspection all vehicles passed but two had a few non-inspection issues Dylan brought to our attention. His patience and advice was so appreciated!! Dylan explained as much as I could comprehend on my own, then he repeated everything for my husband over the phone. I have been asking around for a good mechanic in our new neighborhood. And now I have found it!!!! Yates should be your auto repair specialist too!

Luis, who inspected my HONDA, allowed me to enter the Garage and ask several questions; He was so friendly and informative about all of my concerns (minor but important to me) 8 year old car that is now showing bumps and bruises (low mileage). I have been using Yates for the last 3 years! Elleni, who runs the Convenience Shop, is so, so friendly, happy and makes the experience of waiting for the above go by fast, offering free (great) COFFEE and COOKIES................She is also so friendly and helpful to all the customers.........Looking forward to next April............!!!

Great service. We had both car serviced here. The state inspector, Luis was fast and efficient. Dylan the service manager prepared a quote for us and was very good at communicating the timeline of the service.I really like to support a local family run shop.

I took my car to Yates for an oil change and inspection, which I have done for the past several years, and always have a good experience. This time, the car failed the state inspection, but Dylan was very patient explaining the problem and offered a solution for the repair to fit my travel schedule.
