Outstanding service! Our battery died in the parking lot and my husband ran over and asked someone for help and they brought a jump start to help us get to the gas station. From start to finish customer service was outstanding! Floyd did a great job and should be the September employee of the month! Please consider Yates for you car needs! Free car wash too!!!!!!

This place is so professionally run it puts others to shame. The customer service is friendly and not pressured or stressed at all. While waiting in the store area next door the attendants were great as well.

Was eating at the Subway next door when I noticed I had a flat tire. Pulled up in back and was greeted right away. Julian took a look at it and said they could patch it. The repair took about 20 minutes and cost $39. Also, they have free coffee/tea/hot chocolate, which helped on a cold and wet day like today.

I just moved to Fort Belvoir from Alabama and need a state inspection and emissions test in order to transfer my vehicle registration and plates. This location was very fast and easy. I was out within 20minutes and the service was friendly. The vehicle inspections testing is first come first serve. Therefore, I do recommend getting there a little early. I will definitely be back to service my vehicle.

I contacted Yates again because I heard something in my tire and I've had tires blow before (on 395), so I never take a chance with tires. I called and asked if I could swing by in 5 minutes. Not only did they accommodate me, but ended up checking my tires for free. Mostly, because it ended up being nothing, but still. They took a few minutes out of their day to help me out, so I'm going to take a few out of mine to write a review for their awesome customer service! Thanks again, guys!

Had to get my safety inspection done, and--as known--my front breaks need to be replaced. All parts were available on premise and the work was done WELL. Not quickly, not half-hearted, but really well. I can't give a specific on who was the best at service as every gentleman helped me. Do I think it was the lowest price for parts and labor ... no--the up-sell is definitely on the labor not the parts as suggested in other posts, but the job was done in a technically sound and certified area. If you're new to the area, or are having issues with your car in the area, I highly suggest going here. If you have your own shop you can go to that has a lower cost that you trust, it might be in your budget's interest to do so.

Quick in and out with high quality, polite and professional staff all around. Prices are on the low-side of average, and they'll give you a free car wash with oil-change service. The only thing that is really missing, is a waiting area. But there is a Starbucks across the parking lot that works great if you have to wait long.

I can't express in words the relief I felt to experience the meaning of customer service when I went to Yates Express Lube...but I'll do my best :-)... I bought brand new tires at a different establishment and I underwent the worst experience with them. When I finally got my car back(2 days late), I continued to experience issues with the ones I had just replaced. When I called to tell them, they told me I would have to take my car and wait in line with an estimated wait time of 2-3 hours. As I was running errands, I stopped by Yates Express Lube in desperation. I had never been and didn't even know if they offered tire services, but didn't know what else to do. I was IMMEDIATELY greeted by a gentleman named Shane. He told me to pull in and would take a look. When I explained the problem, he immediately knew what it could be, tested the issue and diagnosed it. I had a bad tire valve that was leaking air. Within less than 5 minutes, he changed the valve and regulated the tire pressure for ALL 4 TIRES. Talk about going the extra mile in customer service. When I asked him what I owed, he said I was good to go. Not only did Shane solve this annoying issue, but he showed a level of customer service that eased my anger from the horrible experience from the previous garage. Yates Express Lube has a new customer. From now on, I'll go to them for all of my car needs. Their prices may be a little elevated compared to other local garages, but you're also receiving 5 star service from a team that genuinely cares and provides top quality service. I have a feeling car troubles won't be a headache for me anymore as long as I go to them!
